What is the traditional Canadian Thanksgiving meal? I don't think I know.

Usually a two-four of Blue, five pounds of peameal and a carton of Craven-A’s. At least that’s the way we did it back in the day.

Oh yeah and a dozen crullers from Tim Hortons.

(BTW if you need a translation I’d be only too happy to provide one).

ROTFLMAOAPMP It is dinde, roast dinde, with all the trimmings. And in Quebec, Francophone Quebec, maybe a tarte au sucre. Made with maple syrup and will set your teeth on edge. Action de grâce but I remember it as fête de grâce. Anyway, English or French it will involve the same overindulgence as in the "Lower 48."

As for the Labatt's, "Canadian" bacon and the cigarettes, they'll work, too. Along with some damned bruising hockey. Anyway, have fun up there in The Great White North.

Had to look up peameal -- yes, what we call Canadian bacon. And my French must be weaker than I thought because I didn't know "dinde" meant turkey. And yeah, the thing with the accented vowels....

I spent a couple of years in Montreal being scholastically abused out on Sherbrooke. And am better for it. Some say I could only improve.

My Lady made a Traditional Thanksgiving! Only losers go to Tims. We had turkey butterball pre stuffed, Many veggies meal snacks. And choice of 4 cakes! Canadian wine and Molson's. We celebrate earlier Eh!
