What camera/ parts store would possibly stock these?
Who would stock Nikon EM used/ NOS viewfinder screens?

The screen is not designed to be user interchangeable (I’m certain about this) and as far as I recall the FA/FE/FM screens do not fit. Your best bet is a used EM with a good screen, a used part or that someone on eBay has a NOS screen. For example: Nikon Fresnel Focusing Screen from a Nikon EM | eBay or Nikon EM Focusing Screen Original Spare Part | eBay (no connection, just found through a search).
On any Nikon where the 3 series screens for the FM3a fit, I use them, but I am fairly sure that this is not the case for the EM. You might be able to modify one to fit, but again, I’m not sure.
I like the tiny Nikons although the FA/FE/FM cameras are more capable.

On a related matter, where can I find an overview of FM screens? I have the standard one on my FM3A and I'm struggling with it. Thanks, OtL

Nikon FE/FM/FA Series - Focusing Screens
I won’t be much help - I find the K3 - the standard FM3a screen - about the best one there is and have installed them in my FA and FM2n. If you want to retain the brightness (and therefore a 3 series screen) your only other choices are a B3 or an E3.

That would be a shame, but if you can’t see and focus, it’s not much use.
