Like Dayrell, very good combination. I rate it at 64, 1:50, 8 min. Looks like APX 100.

I am doing Foma 100 almost the same as You do. IMO Fomadon gives slightly deeper blacks and some more contrast. Photo below is an example of Foma 100 in Rodinal 1:50 8min developed in hungarian Rondinax copy. (No postprocess after scan)

Combo is OK but you've got to like grain; I find the mids a little muddy too. IMHO if you love Foma 100 you owe it to yourself to try it in Xtol 1:1 at least once.

In 120 it's not particularly grainy.

I have done exposure bracketing with this combo and I found that the "best" speed was ASA 50 only. However, Fomapan 100 has a very wide exposure latitude.

I'm looking at Massive Dev Charts (digitaltruth.com) for Fomapan 100 and R09 it says
Rodinal 1+100 EI.100 10minutes
But but but... filmdev.org says 1+100 = 60 minutes... how come such huge different?

Hmm longer one seems to be stand development and shorter is development with agitation. Altough I have never tried R09 1:100 with agitation for 10mins.

I tend to rate it at 80 and develop in Rodinal 1+25 for 6.5 minutes (or 6 minutes with continuous agitation). I like the results better with 120 and 4x5" than with 35mm though.
The choice of using 1+25 is mainly because I use a Paterson Orbital tank for developing sheet film. The tank takes a very low volume of developer (or you get spillage or horror lines as Roger Hicks called them). It makes sure the minimum amount of Ro9 concentrate is in the working solution.
I need to try E.I.64 with 1+50 for 8 minutes one of these days when developing other formats.

For the interest of posterity on this old thread, I also like 1:25 for around 7 min for 35mm. Very nice look.

These days I mainly use HC-110 instead of Rodinal. Sticking mainly with dilution B (1:31) or E (1+49).

I have used the 120 version of the Foma 100 and i was very pleased.

Good results with Foma 1:50 and semi stand. I rate it bad speed but usually Sunny 16 it, so whop really know. Plus mechanical shutter ... but I get good results. If something screws up, it's not the film. A very classic look.

Fomapan 100 was a decent film, I used Foma and Forte as cheap alternatives to Agfa and Ilford in the 1990s.
Since it is an old school film with nice grain and a long tonal scale I'd be tempted to use Rodinal 1+50 and agitate once very other minute to lower the contrast and extend the tonal scale. Time should be in the 9-11 min range

Fomapan 100, Rodinal 1:100 (with normal agitation 5/30sec.). Pretty sure I went 1:100 because water temp was so high

Definitely. I came across the recipe on the Massive Dev app and wanted to try it. Done it a few times now.
It does create some bright area's around high contrast areas, such as the person standing in front of the flower field on the last photo.
