Here's a bit of a play around with SPP to TIFF to LR to Flickr. I have a lot to learn about post processing work with these fascinating cameras. But it looks like I recall on the beach that evening.

And a Johnny Rook - an inquisitive and rare raptor down to about 350 breeding pairs on the Falkland Islands, and a global population of 1000-2500.

Banded too. Quite a privilege to see. Do you have any photos from Stanley or the other settlements? And a Johnny Rook - an inquisitive and rare raptor down to about 350 breeding pairs on the Falkland Islands, and a global population of 1000-2500.

Hi Freakscene, I think the birds are as closely monitored as possible yes. My photos were mostly wildlife focussed I must admit though Stanley and the settlements are also interesting.

Homemade hummus is a regular dish in our house. This is a tasty, healthy and nutritious food. Regarding photography, I don't usually take pictures of food, with a camera like the Sigma DP2 Merrill. For this purpose, I have other cameras with lenses suitable for this kind of photography. This time I took a snapshot with the Merrill and was pleasantly surprised. Just like every time I pick up this camera...That looks really good.

Nice one. I really like how flash looks when used on the sigmas. Did you use a jpeg for this or spp? (Looks good, just asking because I cant get along with spps heavy handed micro contrast boosting)

Thanks for your response. And to your question, I don't mess with the Merrill jpeg files. I have learned to trust the SPP and from there I export the files into Paintshop software.Nice one. I don't keep the oils you mentioned in your response at home. I purchase virgin olive oils directly from the growers; ArbequinaIt is tasty and nutritious as long as you stick to olive oil and not soybean oil or even canola
and Koroneiki varieties, which come in five-liter cans.
