What are you listening to at the moment?

And finally for the timid: Dare To Be Fat and another. The train is in the station and you had better get on board or be left behind. 🥭 Slim is rockin' 'em, uptown, downtown, Gramercy Square Park and across from the PA Bus Terminal in a sleazy bar.

Slim was a frat brother of Bush II at Yale. Slim's candle went out when he was 48. There is a suspicion that alcohol and drugs contributed to his early death. Root Boy Slim - Wikipedia

Since I am walking like a samba very out of tune, in Cerebral Palsy time, I am playing my German A&M pressing of Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66/Look Around. Enjoying my McIntosh MA 6100, Technics SL-1200 Mk II, with Reloop/Ortofon Concorde Black and Dynaco A-25 loudspeakers. How the wheelchair user photographer relaxes after he's been out shooting film in his rangefinder Canon. My first 12 frames of film in this camera too!

Rock on, baby, rock on.

I haven’t seen or heard a panduri since I was in Georgia. Thanks!
I spent some time there in 1994. At that time in Abkhazia, there were food shortages but my driver and I found a man who had a lot of eggs. We had eggs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. After a few weeks, we drove back to Tbilisi, and the driver said in a solemn voice: "If tomorrow morning my wife gives me eggs for breakfast, she's dead". Cheers, OtL

Currently revisiting this compilation of Mount Shrine ambient work. Cesar Alexandre, the artist behind Mount Shrine and the vaporwave themed Lindsheaven Virtual Plaza, sadly passed away from coronavirus during the original pandemic. This music is best appreciated with good headphones or speakers, and a moment of quiet time.
