Voigtlander Heliar Classic 50mm f1.5

These are really nice photos. I didn’t bond w/ the Heliar Classic lens, so I sold it. On balance, I prefer the look from a Sonnar, but the photos from Yokosuka_Mike and Erik are really good.

Thank you, Bingley, I find it a good idea from Yokosuka_Mike to shoot the lens @ f2 and not at full aperture, like I did. f1.5 is too much of a good thing. The f-stop of the lens is right behind the front lens. If the diaphragm were built further back in the lens, @ f2 the blur circles in the picture wouldn't be round, but would look like a crescent moon. That's why I used full aperture in the first place. I see now that for that I can use for this lens @ f2 too.

Interesting I always used this lens full open. i will try at F 2 next time I will use it.
