That stone wall also caught my attention. It is in a small town in the Bierzo region, and that change in the placement of the stones is unlike anything I have seen, because they are always placed horizontally. It occurs to me that they may be there to fill a gap, but it is not clear to me. I will try to investigate, because I'm intrigued too.
