I've looked all over the camera body and can't find it.
Many thanks,

It should be on the back of the camera. It's just a reminder mechanism since the camera doesn't have a meter.

Hi Bill,
I’m pretty sure it is on the film door on the back. There’s even a little cut out in the ever ready case to see it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that was just a reminder.

That's all you need. The P has no built-in meter, so the dial just tells you what film speed you set.Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that was just a reminder.

I know that there isn't one [an indicator] on my VI-T.
Indicator = something that tells the camera what speed film is loaded.
Reminder = something to tell the operator what speed film is loaded.

My Vl-T has a film type indicator dial on the rear door. The camera manual (page 18) certainly shows the "film type indicator".I know that there isn't one [an indicator] on my VI-T.

OK, my 'definition' is incorrect.
I have a 'film type indicator' on the back of mine too, but I see it as more of a reminder than an 'indicator' which communicates with the camera mechanism to tell it what is loaded.

I got it. No meter, then NO need to record film speed on the camera.
Many thanks!

But you can call me Steve
It reminds you to set your external meter to the film in the camera.
