You see a brand new gas lantern. To improve the historic ambiente, Prague has replaced the electric lanterns in the old part of the city by new gas lanterns in historic design. The light quality of these new gas lanterns is very beautiful.
I like Prague very much. Visited very often in the 1990s. I bought a lot of Foma film, paper, chemicals and darkroom equipment. Today, the prices and availability of that stuff is of no interest any more. But Prague is still worth a visit for photography.

You can send an sms to a number and for 5 minutes the statues spell out your message in the stream of piss. Quite amusing. I sat there one day when there weren’t many people around and had them spell out “Gregor Samsa” about 17 times in a row.
