This is great @dourbalister. I do love seeing your pictures of your family life. It reminds me of the times we had when our girls were young - we had a static caravan in Northumberland that we used as a beach hut. Most weekends saw us away spending time around the area, walking or other activities and every day finished up on the nearby beaches whatever the time of year or weather. You too seem to enjoy a life outdoors and it’s a treat to see your home, California I think, in this context.

Thank you, @sojournerphoto! Bishop is about an 6-hour drive from where we live in the Bay Area, but yes, we're in California. When we went in April of this year, some of the mountain passes through the Sierra Nevada mountains were still closed for the winter, so we had to go the long way around. The most direct route over Tioga Pass through Yosemite sometimes doesn't open until late May or early June. This is great @dourbalister. I do love seeing your pictures of your family life. Looks great, @WJJ3! Seems like you've worked out the development issues with D-76.

Thanks! Yes, unevenness in dense areas in the negative (sky, etc) are better with reduced agitation, but I'm still seeing some patchiness in certain shots:Thank you, @sojournerphoto! I'm happy with this film, but am going to change developers after I use up my D-76

It looks like you had bubbles. Don't forget to bump the tank to the table after agitating. Thanks! Yes, unevenness in dense areas in the negative (sky, etc) are better with reduced agitation, but I'm still seeing some patchiness in certain shots:

Maybe you had not enough dilution of your developer in the tank. Check with the instructions of your tank how many ml you need. D76 will not be the reason for your problem, neither it will be solved by changing the developer.
Kentmere films tend to produce foam. It is not of any harm if you remove the bubbles by bumping the tank. The two films in this Jobo tank came without any issues.

Thanks, you might be right. I do get some foam, but thought my liquid level in the tank has been high enough to not expose the film to bubbles while sitting between agitations. My 1:1 D-76 is diluted correctly. I will try increasing the liquid level a bit and suppress the bubbles by tapping. It looks like you had bubbles.
