I've always liked the Bessa's. Even when selling off my analogue gear, I'd be tempted to keep one of them. Cheers, OtL

That's a nice one, with the silver dials. Is it a special edition somehow? Normal Bessa L's all seem to have black plastic dials. Are the shells made of metal too?
Sonnar2, I bought that Bessa-L used at a camera shop in Yokohama. The metal silver dials were what caught my eye. When I asked the salesman about it he said that the original owner had special ordered it from the Cosina factory. He said in the old days one could do that sort of thing. Whether that's true or he made it up on the spot I don’t know but it’s the only silver dialed Bessa-L that I’ve ever seen.
I sold that camera earlier this year along with all my other film cameras to pay for my Fujifilm GFX 50R camera and Fujinon GF 63mm f2.8 R WR lens. My analog gear had become more like museum pieces sitting on the shelf than everyday users. If I was a wealthy man that wouldn’t have been necessary, but alas I’m just a poor slob that has to give a little to get a little.
All the best,
Mike

The 50mm f/1.1 is next for me, but I'm cut off for the rest of the year after buying a Bessa R3A and the 40mm f/1.4 MC.
