trix4ever, I am intrigued by that photo. I have been living in Burringbar for nearly 5 years and spend a lot of time in Murwillumbah but have never seen that. Whereabouts is it?

Cheers,
Clay
Hi Clay, it's on the town side of the flood wall opposite the river end of King St.
So as you go over the bridge to murwillumbah, at the roundabout by the RSL, turn left and it's on the flood wall about 100m on the left.
There's some intriguing artwork on both sides of that wall. Enjoy.
All the best. Mark

From my visit with my primary care physician earlier this week, this is Laura the office nurse. A very nice young lady. Fuji X-Pro2, Zeiss ZM Biogon 25/2.8 lens. A very nice lens.

Incidentally, my doctor says that for an old man with spinal stenosis, arthritis, hypertension, elevated cholesterol, atrial fibrillation and a host of other conditions, I am doing quite well. I'm lucky, I guess. All those pharmaceuticals I take several times a day must be doing their jobs. Now if it just didn't hurt so damn much....

😀

A photo I took seven years ago of my neighbour Paule who passed away at home aged 85 in his own bed with his wife and daughter beside him a few days ago. His last wish was to die at home, be cremated with no funeral service and have his ashes put in a cardboard box. His wife Elaine drew the line at the cardboard box and has got him a nice wooden one! 🙂

When it all stops hurting, then it's really time to worry...
But yeah, when I was young, I always wondered why those damn old people always made those groaning noises when they sat down. Or got up. Or did anything, for that matter. Now I know.

I’m not @trix4ever , but it’s on the flood barrier near the corner of King Street and Commercial Road.

You live in a beautiful place. I grew up near Tabulam and regard all the border country as my ancestral home.
