I had an Uncle in the Marines in the Pacific, an Uncle on Destroyers in the Pacific, and Dad in B-29's.
Everytime the Docent at the Marine Museum tells me how many B-29 crewman were saved at Iwo Jima I answer back, "Yeah. But you are counting my Dad 11 times."

Reading this topic, I remembered my Jupiter 36 250mm/3.5 for Kyiv 88 (Salyut) (aka Hasselblad))), I used to take portraits with it, and now I’m thinking of dusting it off)))
I noticed while fondling my gear that I actually have a Sonnar lens. It's an 85mm 2.8 c\y mount. Can I play here with this lens?

Sure, happy to help. I do mostly people photos, but I've only used the Zeiss 135mm APO Sonnar on a couple of shoots. It's a beautiful lens. Sonnar qualities coupled with APO color and sharpness. 'Need to use it more.
