A Sonnar Shot A Day

Tuesday October 15, 2024

One of those days where getting my son his ID updated and then registered to vote took precedence then we went out to eat. In the end, I didn't have time for much photography so I thought I'd show off my other ax.

Been having a lot of fun with this one of late. Not even the most recent of theirs by any stretch but I got my hands on a really nice one.

K5, DA 35/2.4, DA 20-40 Limited, F 35-70, and an A 50/1.7 manual focus on the way.

Oy, what a week. My son started college on Monday and the weekend was prep as well as my usual work hours (hotels have to be staffed). So rather than break out all days, here we are:

Of them all, that one from today is probably the best. The clouds are a delight, the minimalist landscape of my township, it reminds me why I keep coming home despite how much I love traveling. This is where I grew up; this is where I belong; this is where I will be buried someday not too terribly long from now. When I see it like this? I really don't mind.

and this is very interesting from the point of view of the circuit.
