Yep, Mortar Rock is basically kitty corner from Indian Rock. We stopped there after warming up at Indian Rock. Cragmont is less than a mile away.

One of my favourite places. It’s only after bush fires that you get to see the full magnificence of the boulders on the plateau. This spot is also the launch point for paragliders and hang gliders.

Me too. Mt Buffalo has a great history too - especially the old chalet (is it still there today?).
And that scenery overlooking the Ovens valley...................wow! 🙂
I first went there on my honeymoon with my first wife and decided it is a lovely part of the world. Years later I went back with my second wife in 2007 (?) (just don't tell her about my prior trip.) 😆😆😆
