Very nice moods Pan, would love to be there right now, without radio, internet etc.....Beautiful, I used to spend my summers a few miles from there, in a small town called Aigio.
All these pictures are taken within 10 miles from where you took your picture, back in the 90s.

Is that the Edmund O'Brien, Liberty ship of fame, moored in San Francisco? They used to offer weekend classes aboard in the use of the nautical sextant for navigation qualification, and for nostalgia. It was sailed to Europe for a D Day celebration, too, IIRC. An on-air interview while docked in England was a problem as the crew was ashore in a pub and not too mic able. It was on KQED and pretty funny. San Francisco, a special place.
