quite a tasty report about flowing water!I shot some Ferrania P30 on Saturday afternoon, aiming to balance the flat lighting that day with the higher contrast of this film. My goal was to do some long exposure shots of waterfalls using a variable neutral density filter, but I forgot that these don’t play nicely with wide lenses. The negatives accordingly were quite underexposed in a wide diagonal band from the bottom left to top right, and overexposed in the opposite corners. Evening out the exposure in each frame during post-processing killed the contrast unfortunately. Did my best to salvage these shots. I also don’t think this film plays nicely with Rodinal. At 100% magnification, the grain looks smeary and ill-defined.
