Hmm. It's possible that that was one of the towns I went through, although I think my memory of a town that looked similar was a bit farther West on my route... possibly Winslow, Arizona or close to that. It was around Thanksgiving time, 2017 ... Wow, eight years ago! So much has happened in these past 8 years!

Town actually gets pretty lively, but this was at first light while everyone else was sleeping off Friday night. It was agony, though - we have a well known ranked BBQ place downtown and they were smoking away getting ready for the brunch crowd.
