Let's see your Leica M

I bought a Light meter for my M3

How do you feel about your Reflx Lab meter? I tried one of the Keks meters and found it unreliable (in the sense that it sometimes would just stop working at all for an hour) and the display can be hard to read in bright sunlight, at least for my eyes. I usually fall back to having the L308 in my pocket, but sometimes it's nice to carry only the camera.

I'll start off by saying, this isn't my camera but since you all enjoy seeing Leica's I thought you might like to see this one. When I go to the dentist I usually stop in at the camera shop that's in the same strip mall as the office. Today I had a real treat when I found they had this really nice M3 in the case. I asked if I could try the wind mechanism as they said it had had a CLA. It has the original vulcanite on it too. It is a really nice camera.

To be honest it hardly looks like it was used.

Shot with Leica CL, M-Adapter-L, Macro-Adapter-M, IRZOO LTM adapter and Focotar-2 50mm.

This lightweight little pocket rocket achieves 1.8:1 maximum magnification. I have lots of fun with adapting older macro and enlarger lenses. The Photar macro lens in the picture was offered from 1980 - 2005. The Focotar-2 enlarger lens used for this shot was introduced in September 1975, exactly 50 years ago. Both lenses are still top notch.

Several years ago someone posted a picture of their M4-P with a silver 50mm Elmer m on this thread. I thought it looked great and ended up buying one of the lenses for my camera

Some people seem to think chrome lenses on black cameras in general are unsightly. But I do like the look--my Rigid Summicron and my 50mm V2 Summilux do look nice on my M6, in my opinion.

I have no objections to chrome lenses on black bodies
