That's a step or two up from the Bonneville I had in 1971, 😳

Are those W1 or W2? Do you know how old are they (from the license plates, for instance)? Beautiful bikes.A pair of classic 650 Kawasaki's
Middle aged husband and wife were the riders. The wife's was the orange one; husband's was the blue.

I think you're right. Thanks. I myself own a Kawasaki W800 (at least thisThe W1 has the brake pedal on the left side. Those two in the picture have the brake pedal on the right side.
The W2 had a front drum brake and the W3 was upgraded with twin disc brakes on the front.
So, the orange one is a W2 and the blue one is a W3.
Production of the Kawasaki 650 W series ended in 1974.
I'm no expert so someone else may chime in and correct me.
All the best,
Mike
is how they are called in Europe), which I think is the direct descendent of those wonderful W.Hey that makes two of us!My current ride....lovely. View attachment 4883028View attachment 4883028

Did you get the tail piece for the pillion portion of the seat? I was lucky that my dealer had one in stock -- they're now unavailable.Lol that's Italian production for you. I'm guessing they had a few ;aying around and threw them on. I highly recommend the Mistral pipes! beautiful in sound and appearance.
That is very clean !! The story I heard is that the V twin was the result of Philip Vincent seeing two drawing of the 500 single on top of each other and the penny dropped. My brother had one.
Those particular engine guards are actually fairly unobtrusive, so they’re hardly noticeable.Vince, I did not get the tail piece. I'll check with the dealer for availability here in PA. I know engine guards are a good idea, but I hate to impact the lines of the bike.
