Are those W1 or W2? Do you know how old are they (from the license plates, for instance)? Beautiful bikes.

Are those W1 or W2? Do you know how old are they (from the license plates, for instance)? Beautiful bikes.

The W1 has the brake pedal on the left side. Those two in the picture have the brake pedal on the right side.
The W2 had a front drum brake and the W3 was upgraded with twin disc brakes on the front.
So, the orange one is a W2 and the blue one is a W3.
Production of the Kawasaki 650 W series ended in 1974.

I'm no expert so someone else may chime in and correct me.
