LLL 50mm f/1.2 ASPH "1966"

This a blogger based in Hong Kong and has tested many lenses.

The original article link is at the top of the page. If you’re proficient in Cantonese, you can read the original post; there’s also a selection of multilingual translations. However, the blogger uses a lot of humor and slang, making it challenging to understand even for people studying the language. I’ve done my best to translate the core ideas and the test conclusions.

These replica lenses are notorious for sample‑to‑sample variation, so the results here may not apply to every copy. Reviewers should use their own discretion. All content in this translation remains the copyright of the original blog.

Very interesting. It seems he's not overly fond of the LLL "1966". Although I have nothing to compare my copy with directly, I've been pretty happy with it. I will concede that it was over-priced.

I would have kept my copy of the 50mm Voigtlander Nokton f/1.2 had it not been for the terrible pincushion distortion it (and the 40mm f/1.2) put out under certain conditions. I didn't like the more recent Nokton f/1 for the same reason.
