Photography gear that does cause you GAS.

Everything Leica. Started with m4-p and voigtlander 35 1.4. Added a Zeiss 50 f2. Upgraded my m4-p to an m6 TTL. Then added an m10. Now I’m trying to pickup a 28 elmarit. I think I’ll be good for a while after that.

Although there are virtually no frontiers left in film photography, I get GAS over stuff that may not be the greatest ever, but is relatively unknown. For instance, did we know that Zeiss Ikon offered a 25mm f/4 designed by Voigtlander for the Icarex system? Carl Zeiss Jena did a limited run of multicoated 50mm f/2.8 Tessars in PB mount during the early 80s. The Schneider Xenon 80mm f/2.8 MF in Exakta 66 / P6 mount may have been one of the best film era standard lenses made for 6x6. Konica had a 60mm f/1.2 in M39 during the 1950s (a sales flop) that no one has really published anything about.

I love all of this kind of stuff.

A black paint Leica MP with the 0.85 finder, the closest thing to an M3 with a meter. Those pop up rarely, sadly.

The W-Nikkor 3.5cm 1.8, adapted to Leica M via Coiro-Optics.

A nice condition (serviced) Rolleiflex 2.8F. A Pentax 67 (ii) with the 75 shift lens and the 105 2.4. I'd have to sell my great-but-cumbersome Rolleiflex SL66SE and the Mamiya C330 kits for this rearrangement of my medium format lineup. I think I prefer a "classic SLR" form factor combined with a smaller, fixed lens TLR.

Oh and a new apartment with extra space for a darkroom, easy peasy, you can tell I'm a modest guy.
