i would like to buy a Krokus 66 SL as in the picture and looks very good but my question is:

  • i don't see any mask for the 6x4.5 ... can i still use with that format ?
  • i don't see any mask for the 135 ... can i still use with that format ?
Same, i find a Meopta Optemus 6a but still don't looks are available masks for the two formats i need, can i still print these formats with excellent results ?

Optemus 6a : Optemus 6a - Google Drive
Krokus 66 SL: Krokus 66 sl - Google Drive

Any advice ?
can i alredy use as they are with the two formats i want to print ?

Because the 135 mask i find available only with the optemus 2:

Perhaps look into 3D printing? There might be a design out there somewhere.

My gut tells me not, you need the masks to shoot that format, but that's just a SWAG.

Best of luck.

If you have the 6x6 negative holder, you can print 6x45, just tape pieces of dark paper on each side
For 35mm keeping the film aligned might be a challenge
i find these masks:

I have the Meopta Opemus 6. It's entirely possible to put 35mm film in the 6x6 holder and print the whole thing, sprockets and all, but you do technically risk some issues due to the excessive amount of extra light around the image. And as @titrisol pointed out, correctly aligning the film can be a pain. It's much better to have the dedicated holder if you can get it.

It's a 6x6 camera. If you don't have a 645 back available, you shoot 6x6 and crop in printing, just mark the framing lines in the viewfinder. Shooting 35mm film with it is likely impractical as 35mm film needs different mask, different guide rails, a way to rewind the film, etc ... Can be done but it's always a bodge.

Hasselblad made A12 and A24 backs for 6x6, A16 backs for 645, and the A2035 back for 35mm panorama. This last is extremely rare and very pricey. It also runs the film vertically, so you have to devise a jig to hold the camera at 90° for landscape panoramas. Easier to just shoot 6x6 or 645, cropping to 35mm pano format in processing.

...he's talking about an enlarger, @Godfrey. 😅

IRRC (my memory about this enlarger goes back a LONG way!) Krokus made an adjustable negative holder for their enlargers.

Try to find one of these. Check Ebay. You'll save yourself a lot of bother andhunting for single-use insert masks.
