Minolta CLE Viewfinder - the best?

I’m sorry to bothering you almost 20 years ago but I’m wondering what kind of loupe did you use for Minolta CLE magnification and how exactly dis you modified a frame in camera?

Here's a picture of the viewfinder insert that came with my CLE when I bought it about 3 years ago. The camera viewfinder magnification is listed as being .58, but this viewfinder insert changes the angle slightly - to maybe .45 (estimated). The view is just slightly wider. The insert is made of plastic and just snaps into place using two recessed areas on each side of the viewfinder. This picture shows it covered in dust. I've since cleaned it up..

Yes. This is looks like a viewfinder diopter corrector eyepiece fn

Oh yeah the Minolta slr diopters fit the CLE. I can use the -4 on mine and not have to use my glasses.
