I only took OMs on a week trip round Bulgaria last month. It's been frustrating me that I can't post them all in the gallery here...
When I finish scanning I will sort out a much tighter edit, but in the mean time there's a lot of varied zuikos at work here:

Hey guys... I'm an avid OM-1 fan; I've been busy over at DSLRx and have just gotten back here. I'm using an OM-1 won on eBay for $32-. With S/N 1778xxx, it must be late 70's, because it requires shoe 4.
Below is a shot done with the Zuiko 50/1.8, wide open.
Glad to be aboard,
mike

Thanks Joe. Somehow it doesn't seem right, but with your reassurance I'll put some of the best up when I'm through...back alley said:tom,

a bit off topic, but i'm looking forward to trying out an oly 21/3.5 i picked up over at fredmiranda. altho i've got plans to use it on a dSLR, i'm thinking i should go with the flow here and pick up an OM-1 for it, too ...

This thread is killing me, it just keeps coming back, it’s like the Chinese water torture (no disrespect to anyone from the Chinese security services intended)
Anyway if I were to replace my OM kit, and I’m not going to, and based on a 30 year association I would look to add to the OM1 (1972-3 vintage) and MC 28mm/f3.5 I still have a 35mm/f2, 50mm/f1.2 50mm/f2 85mm/f2 and a 180mm/f2, and possibly an early OM2 with motor and a auxiliary finder for the 28 when indoors.

i've been looking at/for some of these also.
they seem to be the more pricey lenses and harder to find.

Wow! You really have the 180/F2? That is some monster kit you've got there. Unless you mean the 180/F2.8. I have the latter and there is a significant difference in size and price.Sparrow said:This thread is killing me, it just keeps coming back, it’s like the Chinese water torture (no disrespect to anyone from the Chinese security services intended)

No not any more, it’s a long story and a big insurance claim, and spread over 30 years not so much money (if the lady wife should read this) those are my all stars, I had most of the black ones and four of the silver bezel SCs all in
this thread keeps coming up and I’m trying to concentrate on the M mount now

Quick question for you Olympus folks. I just picked up my dad's old OM2n which was sitting in the back of a closet. Nice size and weight feels lighter than my M4-P. I was playing around with it and pushed the shutter and the viewfinder blanked out and didn't clear. It's like the mirror got stuck or something. Was contemplating taking the camera off his hands to play around with a bit. It's got the 50 /1.4 and a bunch of old accessories. Any ideas on how to fix it?

New battery first job, has the shutter closed?

1. The 180/2 http://olympus.dementia.org/eSIF/om-sif/lensgroup/180mmf2.htm
2. Yes, replace the battery on the OM-2n The shutter locks up if the battery is dead. To clear it, depress a little switch at the bottom of the body lens mount, then turn the shutter speed dial to B.
