My cup runneth amok.
You guys are poison. I idly googled "Summaron" to assuage my ignorance, hit image search, saw a bunch of pictures taken with them...
Now I want one. And I don't even like that focal length.
Fuggers.

Me either, and I am avoiding buying an M2 because I will have to get a Summaron to go with it. I already have the Collapsible Summicron for my future M2. It is poison.
Some day I will jump in the pond and buy my M2/Summaron Combo.

Andrews Cameras in Teddington Middsx www.andrewscameras.co.uk had a few genuine Leica lens caps in somewhat scruffy condition. I bought one a couple of years ago for £10. The summaron is a great lens, mine with a tiny balsam separation fault on the rear doublet was £125 - compare that to the contemporary 8-element summicron.
But please don't let anyone know the lens is any good as it's one of the only reasonably priced leica lenses around

Tho' I chose a CV 25/8 as my next M-mount lens, I'd definitely go with the Sunmmaron 35/2.8. It's the lens that came with my M2, and I've been using it for approx 35 years. mike
