Filter size for a FSU lens?

I have a Industar 61 LD 55mm F/2.8. in LTM. I can't find a used one on EBay, or a few retail stores, Like DVD Technik. I think it is 39mm Filters. It appears to be smaller than my Dad's 50mm F/2 Sonnar, that is 40.5mm. But it is hard to tell..

I need to get a filter and hood for it. Thanks in advance

I have bought hoods from "heavystar" on ebay and been very happy.
Metal, screw in, and vented. Not too pricey(11 or 12 USD, I think).
And 40.5 mm filters are not the toughest to find. Another ebay seller I've had good resilts from is "Alex-photo".
