Innerimager,
I kept the 90 and sold the 75. The 75 could focus in closer but I still thought the 90 was a better fit for my needs.

The 28 is up for sale in the ads.
The 28 is gone.
The list is narrowed to 21,24,35,50 and 90.
Which would you let go of next?

This is like "Survivor." Keep the 21/35/50/90. If you really have to, say bye to the 24. the remainder are all so different. I suspect the 24 is redundant to some extent.

I would let the 21 go. The 24 is about the "best" Leica M lens around. And it has framelines.
I think I would keep all of those.... in a couple years when the M8 is a full frame up-date you'll be replacing lenses you just sold.
Even if they don't go full frame I would still hold on to them... just because you own them doesn't mean you have to carry them with you all the time.

If it was me I'd keep whatever gets closest to 50mm, which is probably the 35 on an M8. 90% of my shooting is around that focal length. Since it isn't me, I'd offer the advice to keep the one or two lenses you use the most often.

Don't hold your breath.. According to Zeiss (who have no interest in bailing Leica out), there is not a hint of a glimmer of an idea how to build a functional 24x36 sensor for a rangefinder as far as they can see into the future. And that is a company that is on top of all the newest developments....

Happy photographers are important!
But my M8 stays firmly held up to my eye.
No shelves for me.
