Canada canadian rff meeting - May 19, 20, and 21, 2007.

I'm still tentaive but will know for sure this week whether Jr. made the rep baseball team....it's looking like he did. Go ahead and fill your spot Guy, I'll probably be in Mississauga at a tourney that weekend. If we get beat out by Sat am I may just make the trek by car for Sat eve and Sunday.
Montreal's just east of Mississauga, isn't it?
 
No worries, Mike. The hostel will fill the room up with walk in traffic if necessary. Anyone else interested in a cheap room ($30 per night), good location, contact me through email, a post, or now a PM thanks to Ralph or Joe (I'm retired & I seem to have left my memory at the office). I should give the hostel a call later this week; I'll see if they'll go for not filling the room up until the last minute.
 
Worse case scenario.. Frank, me, Guy, Hubert and Nancy will hold a Toronto meet in Montreal.. ;)

i'm going to check with ama this afternoon about a thursday departure, maybe all the friday and saturday flights are full but thursday might be ok.

And my mom just yelled at me, told me not to cancel my visit. I will be playing things by ear and have my fingers crossed.
 
How many do we have still planning to attend?

I won't be getting there until Sat. afternoon, and will need to meet up with everyone else. I plan to bring my new Nikon for it's first outing.... and a ZI if I can get it by then.

well this is getting nuts.

i went to ama, the ticket price for a friday departure and a monday return has swelled to over 800 bucks and they don't take cash.
i didn't budget for 899 bucks.

there is a discount ticket agency i found that sounds better, tickets are about 700, but they charge extra for cash!!!! and it's a saturday departure.
not sure what i'm doing next.
can you tell i never go anywhere...

or fly into hamilton joe. i'm pretty sure i could snag you on the way... i fly quite regularly back and forth from TO to the wet coast and west jet in and out of hamilton is pretty reasonable. i'm kind of counting on eaving thursday afternoon and getting in thursday eve. coming back monday eve. i live in london so hamilton is kind of on the way... or check on flights into london?

My God, you guys scared me. I thought for a moment it cost $800 to fly from Toronto to Montreal, and I figured if everything in Canada cost proportionately, I'd forget about sneaking across the border this summer.

But then I realized he's talking airfare from Edmonton. As that's slightly east of Vladivostok I can understand.
