hyperfocal length 40mm / f1.4

Dumb question and probably an easy answer somewhere but was wondering about the hyperfocal setting for the 40mm / f1.4?

I tend to shoot either f1.4/ f5.6 and f11]

Set your lens so that the infinity mark is next to your chosen aperture on the depth of field scale.

On my 40mm if I put infinity next to f11 on the right I can see that f11 on the left is between 2 and 3 metres.

Depends on if you are using film or digital.Depth of field tables here for film and RD-1 but M8 not listed.
