Worn paint cameras

I would love to see photos of Leica rangefinder cameras with worn paint or chrome and the base metal showing.
Infact any well used camera.

nothing yet.. i'd like to see some of them too, because i've always loved worn precious things.. cameras, musical instruments, whatches.. whatever with that charisma. right now i have a plan to do a little relic project - get some fed/zorki 1, remove chrome plating, spray it black (all highest attention to detail) and then gently work on some 'realistic' wear.

The paint did not just wear it was porous and the brass pitted, not a pretty sight... You gcould get a M2 or M3 special order but showroom ones would show wear so that is why they are rare.

Here's some honest wear, though not a Leica. Black surely shows the wear more readily, as the chrome M2 I've had and used since 1967 shows very little visible wear.
