I'll also be bringing my faulty QL too.
As for the day - I'm just waiting to get all the votes in so we can make an informed decision.
What's everyone else bringing?
Bob.

So many cameras to fondle!
Hey Kuvvy, where abouts are you based? I've just had a look at your gallery and noticed Watergrove Resevoir and Hollingworth Lake which are both a couple of miles of my house.

I live at Hamer, close to Albert Royds St roundabout, so we mustn't be that far apart.

Not far at all! I live in Littleborough.
Small world. We could always meet up at the Train station on the day.

Thanks Bob for putting this together. Would be good to make a decision soon regarding the date - I can still get a decent price on a Glasgow-Manchester return ticket, and any saving on that front will be spent on film and beer!
Cheers

Anyway how are the curries in Manchester?

Very good last time I went (fair way out of the city centre though, there's a street with about a mile of asian restaurants, and I always get lost trying to find it)
Not sure about the city centre, it's a few years since I've been able to wander. (Mrs PJ prefers the delights of the Trafford centre)

The curries are generally very good in Manny although the Chinese/Thai food is perhaps better still.
Anywayz - it looks like the weekend of the 21/22 July is most popular with the folks signed up here. It also gives everybody more time to get organised. So I'll put it forward as the proposed date.
Any preferrences of the day?
Saturday will be busier, so more people to shoot but maybe a little difficult to move around in a group. Everything is open in Manchester on a Sunday but it is a little quieter. The only downside is that The Real camera Shop won't be open, which is perhaps both a blessing and a curse
What say ye RFFers?

Ah well, enjoy yourselves - I'll be off on a (camping) holiday with the tribe that weekend (the excitement).

BoB,
I'll go with the majority. Do you want me to speak to Jem & see if he would open on the Sunday?
