Silly question (or two): Is the grip solid on that Luigi case or is it a hollow piece of stiff leather? What's to keep you from crushing it in your hand if the situation gets tense?

Luigi answered for me. The grip is reinforced by wood in the center and surrounded by leather on both sides. Definitely worth getting. I must ammend my shopping list. Now all I need is money.
