Heads up to those who are thinking about buying an R4 to use with the Russar. I love my small, light and sharp 20mm Russar and thought with a CV Bessa R4a would make a perfect combo. Anyway it would not mount because the rear of the Russar interferes with the internal baffle of the camera.
The normal size Leica 21, 24mm wide angles block too much of the viewfinder so now I am waiting for the Zeiss 21/4.5 which is $900 I am thinking about just selling the camera

Seriously, the 35mm Jupiter (12?) lens also IIRC will not fit the bessa, which is a real shame.

The 28mm Orion 15 will fit on the Bessa R, but your wide-angle options for FSU glass on a Bessa are limited.
