Russar 20mm will not mount on R4a

Heads up to those who are thinking about buying an R4 to use with the Russar. I love my small, light and sharp 20mm Russar and thought with a CV Bessa R4a would make a perfect combo. Anyway it would not mount because the rear of the Russar interferes with the internal baffle of the camera.😡 The normal size Leica 21, 24mm wide angles block too much of the viewfinder so now I am waiting for the Zeiss 21/4.5 which is $900😡 I am thinking about just selling the camera😡

I recommend sending the Russar to me for safe disposal 🙂

Seriously, the 35mm Jupiter (12?) lens also IIRC will not fit the bessa, which is a real shame.

The 28mm Orion 15 will fit on the Bessa R, but your wide-angle options for FSU glass on a Bessa are limited.
