2,3 and 5 architectural shots are excellent compositions.
5 wheat field shot is well done, also.

I like the snowy forest pictures. I'm a sucker for black and white pictures of snow and trees.

Very nice results. Thank you for not posting 48 large photos.

Very nice! Once again pointing out that the person taking the photograph is more important than the camera they are using. Keep up the great work!

Thanks everyone!
If you don't see any pictures at the moment, don't worry. Our provider seems to have some difficulties, the pictures should be back online soon.

The pictures were taken in the bavarian forest (thats in germany near the czech republic).
Conditions? Just load the xp2 in the holga and have fun
I use the 120n, set on "sunny" (don't know if there really is a difference between sunny and cloudy...).
That's all

A really beautiful set you have there, I'm really impressed! Out of curiosity, roughly how many shots were these chosen from?
All the best,

Thanks!
I shot only 6 rolls of film with the Holga in 2009 (every picture i've showed above was taken in 2009). So in total i shot 72 pictures and published 42.

That's a darn good ratio! It always amazes me the sheer exposure latitude of film, I get just fine exposures from my Diana in any light condition. I've even shot slides through the thing!

Yes, the exp. latitude of film is fantastic, especially in bad light/weather situations.
I don't get this smooth and mysterious look on foggy days with digital equipment.
The Holga is perfect for such situations

holga: the anti-digital choice.

hehe, right.
there is nothing more anti-digital, except a pinhole perhaps.
While browsing the web, i found a shop selling a panorama pinhole Holga
http://shop.lomography.com/cameras/holga-cameras/holga-120-wide-pinhole-camera
I think i'll get one
