OK I see the note about "NOT SPECIFIC LENSES" but am not sure where to post.

I got a used 12mm Helier, and it is has a clicking sound and physically I feel an element floating around inside of it, and the f-stop end is also loose.

The seller said that it didn't do that when it left...

I didn't see any easy way to tighten things up - Looks like there is a elements on the film side that can be undone with a spanner, but these don't feel loose.
Does anyone know a fix I can do for it?

I bought a 15mm Heliar used and it had an identical problem. Ended up sending it in for repair which was a matter of tightening up screws and rings. Can't remember the cost, around $30-50???

Even Leitz lenses come loose in time. Had to have my late sixties 21mm Super Angulon tightened up recently. Forty years of use finally took its toll. The repair man said he'd never seen one that was that loose. Too many miles of transport via jet, motorcycle or LandRover I guess? Sounds like your lens may have seen a bit of use.
