135 Elmarit

I find myself lusting after this lens (the 135mm Elmarit with goggles), but from everything I have read it seems that it can be a nightmare to get it to focus correctly. Will someone either convince me to take the plunge or douse my dreams and dissuade me from doing so? Some firsthand experience would be great.

I've only ever used two but both worked perfectly. I sold the first 10 years ago because I seldom used it on film but bought the other 3 years ago because a friend lent it to me to try on digital, and I love it, especially on the M8.
