Canon LTM 135 lens cheap

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
And Mike,

Stop proving how useful those long lenses are!!! Please, I really don't want to own one of every lens ever made. Pretty please.
;)

Joe, get the books "Better Colour with Walther Benser" and "Color Again" by Walther Benser. He talks about using one camera with one lens; like a guitar with one string. These are late '50s books with a lot of color plates taken with the Leica M3. I think any RF user here would enjoy them.

oscar, you've brought up a good point that i should have considered earlier, i now need a 135 finder for that lens. doh!

anyone want to trade a 135 for a 100 finder?

brian, i had a guitar w/ one string!
just kidding.
i'll look into those books though.

rover, sorry, i thought you had an r for some reason.
i trust you about the leica thing but the dark side is so powerful, how long can you resist?

joe

Joe, consider a turret viewfinder. I have an old one that was real cheap. Made by Optimus, it has 35, 50, 85, 90 and 135 lenses/views. A bit on the big side, but they can be really useful if you have more than one lens that you need a finder for. :)

Wow, that was quick, Joe... :)

The Jupiter 13 is the best lens in the line-up so far as LTM FSU lenses ever went.

jdos2, I was looking on eBay at FSU LTM 135mm, and they only have Jupiter-11. Did you mean Jupiter-11 instead of Jupiter-13?

If so, do you know the difference betweeen the long (thin) model and the short (fat) one? Is one better than the other?

This is a very bad thread. I had no thoughts of a 135mm until I read this thread...
