145 members!

we are slowly growing...up to 145 members now.

granted, i think some have dropped by for a look and have not yet posted to the forum - but we certainly have a good core membership, very friendly and knowledgeable.

On the 10/12 I made an 'experiment'. I posted promotional ads in various sites on the net; photo.net, pbase.com, photoblink.com, photopoints.com, usefilm.com and badorgood.com

It was interesting to see the number of guests that came to the site in the hour after my posts... 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 - and finally topping off at 32. I hope some of them decided to stay around to enjoy this site.

What we need are more members and more RF-topic discussions to keep the guests coming back.

I agree with Backalley Photo's comment that we have "a good core membership," but so far it appears to be a small number of people. I hope the forum continues to attract new members and participants. It is worthwhile and I have enjoyed it so far.

just noticed that we broke 150 and now have 152 members.

maybe we should do a count down (up?) to our first, let's say, 500 members.
