15 years

Congratulations on having son and daughter!
I met up with you in Marburg first, and then years later in Wetzlar.

Yes, I remember, Raid. It was amazing to meet you - both times.
In Marburg there was a colleague of yours with you who had do endure all our camera talk. :D
And in Wetzlar we had that fascinating meet-up at the Leica mothership.
Good memories!

Looks like I'm #2913 -- hmm, two primes (one unlucky). Great place here. Something for everyone, so pick and choose.

I joined in 2004 and still do not have 1000 posts, although I am very close. I do much more reading here than I do posting. I am usually on here at least once a day. This place, by far, is the best photo forum on the net.

I came here after joe announced this forum in the Pop Photo forum. As a result I'm # 12... since June 2003.

Sure, feels like yesterday... :)

I joined nov 2005 which makes 15 years for me as well! Wow, time flies!

I remember I was in Germany an a trip for my job and in that time I was interested in the RD1 Epson Camera and looking informations about it. One night in an internet cafè I typed "rangefinder camera" and I met RFF! A lurked a little bit than I joined a few days later.

It's a great community here, I love it, thanks to everybody.

I joined about 14 years ago. back then Leica M8 was a new thing and all over DPreview that I was actively following. searching more information about it lead me to RFF :)

15 years for me as well.
Much has changed, much has not.

BTW I'm still waiting to get one of my cameras back from G'man...

Chris

December will be 16 years for me and if I recall I'm #829...easy to remember as its my birthday...
Congrats on your 15 years here..it does go by quickly...

Haven't seen you are for ages! Hope you're doing well.

My wife had breast cancer this past year & between work plus taking her to chemo visits I have been extremely busy. The chemo liked to of killed her but glad to report she is now cancer free.

I'm at 15 years as well. Haven't posted much, but since I'm not working anymore I can catch up to all of you! I have certainly learned a lot on this forum over the years. Thank you all...

15 years here as well, it has been a great place. The late Roger Hicks range finder book got me hooked on rangefinder, altough I was already using a Mamiya 7. I branched out into 35mm and large format rangefinders.
