Yes, I didn't think of that. I knew MP Guy was the first because he was RFF's founder. His name is Jorge Torralba, he's still here but doesn't post often. He passed ownership of the site to Steve Gandy back in 2007.

If you "hover" over people's member name in the thread, you can see their user number in the prospective URL window (on Firefox, it appears lower left in the window). Mine is 7818.

My first post. I joined when I bought my first rangefinder, an Epson R-D1, after selling my first "proper" camera, a Canon 10D dSLR. So, here I still am 14 years later despite no longer using rangefinders...

I posted this photo in January 2006 as my first image posted to RFF. It was for a test of many 50mm lenses.
This is Dana from two weeks ago.
I also joined RFF about 15 years ago.
I wonder how many hours we have spent "being online at RFF"?
