15mm VF doesn't fit on Zorki 1 or Fed 2

I borrowed a Voigtlander 15mm for my Zorki 1 / Fed 2 and have trouble mounting the viewfinder. I thought I'd share it with whoever plans on trying similar. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mnmleung/3014557881/in/set-72157594496068171/

Has anyone used this lens on a Zorki 4 or some other FED ? Cheers

I think the problem is the shutter dial. The design intent is clear. The film knobs, shoe, top deck and dial should all be flush. The dial is on a thread and locked by the grub screw. Set a speed and remember it, loosen the grub screw, and screw down the dial one turn. Re-tighten the grub screw.
That should fix it. I had the same problem with a Kontur finder

you can add some distance between finder and dial with a double accessory shoe or a pc to hotshoe adapter

My Leitz 90mm viewfinder won't fit into the shoe of the Fed 2 either. 🙁
