Hello RF lovers. Just got my latest copy of Australia's "Photographic Trader" magazine. In it I learned, for the first time, about the so-called Westlicht Auction in Vienna. The 15th edition was held a couple of months ago on Saturday, 23 May. Here's the official website.
Go to "Online Katalog" and feast your eyes on those M beauties right there folks. Photographic Trader reports that the star of the auction was an olive-coloured M4 that came with matching Elmar and apparently made for the German Army.
Also on offer was one of only 200 Chinese M4 copies, a Shanghai Red Flag. That one reportedly sold for AU$13,900.
