16:9 shooting?

anyone use the 16:9 format for regular shooting?

will cropping the more standard format later on result in the same image?

On my GF1 the 4x3 format uses the sensor most efficiently. The 3x2 and 16x9 formats are more or less crops from the 4x3 format. I guess, the answer would be Yes. Later cropping would result in the same image.
