Hello all,
I posted here last year regarding this Nikon S3 outfit that used to belong to my grandfather and received quite a lot of interest.
I would also like to ask a question about the lens aperture. In a terrible stroke of bad timing one of the leaves came off its guide the day i was taking pictures to sell it and is in need of repair. I am always very gentle with it and noticed it before doing any damage, but it obviously cannot be operated until it has been opened and repaired.
Is this a common problem and is it a straightforward repair?

It's a common problem but i don't know how hard it is to repair.
