'Beach Rides' and 'The Space' are super photos that really appeal.
Looks to be a happy combination of camera and lens there - but its always the taker that makes the difference. With your eye you would get great results from a toy camera.

I use the same combo! On a bright and sunny day, i set mu camera to f/11 and happily snap away.

Thanks for the comments RF'rs!

It's really easy using this combo as you zone focus most of the time, and the Color Skopar is the snapshot version which has preset detents at various focussing distances. I also measured my steps - two steps = 3 feet - which makes it even easier to estimate distances.
But for outdoors in daylight, it would be very difficult to miss focus with the 25mm lens!

The only issues I have had with the 1f is fiddly film loading, but it seems I've figured that out (thanks to threads on this site). Everything else has been a joy. I also use an MdA (Leica M4 w/o rangefinder) but the advantage of the 1f (and 1c) is it is smaller, but more importantly the external VF is in perfect line with the lens axis. On the MdA it is off set.

I tested the camera at all speeds to make sure the curtain timing etc is ok. No issues. The CLA by Youxin is perfect (as well as quick and cheap!)

All these things are just light tight boxes with a lens and shutter. The shots would have looked exactly the same if I used my Nikon F6 w/ 24mm AIS lens! Kinda sobering...

I have a If as well. Mostly used it with Nikkor ltms, but also used the CV 21. It's refreshing to not fiddle with a focus patch and just compose, point and shoot. All my shooting was during the day at f/11 or f/16. 1/500 top speed.

I haven't used it for a while, but these pics have motivated me to take it out.

Huss, Very nice work!

Thanks for sharing...
The 1f looks like it must be fun to use...

What did you use to scan?

Thanks!

Great shots!

Makes me wish I had another IIIF but also that camera and lens works well together!

Love the results you are getting out of the If/CV 25mm combo.
I decided last week to get the lens, there was a nice affordable one on eBay.
Waiting for it to arrive. Cannot wait to start using it with my Ic.
I suppose a matching viewfinder is necessary ?
Have not figured that out yet.
