Just a few of pics from the Nikon Lite Touch AF that I got. It has a 28mm f/3.5 lens and there was some vingetting, but it didn't do too badly in the harsh Arizona sun.

I have one of these. i just loaded a roll of HP5 in to it. It's a small plastic body, AF, AE, point and shoot. It will fit in a shirt pocket. I don't know what to expect in terms of quality. I'll have to see if i can find some Specs. I need to know the highest shutter speed?

The shutter is a leaf, the auto film advance is noisy. It uses an expensive CR123 battery.

I didn't notice any focus noise. And the film advances automatically once the shutter has finished it's cycle. And it's the typical servo motor whine. You would hear it 2 or 4 feet away with no trouble.

The 28mm is very cool. I have a Minox 35GT that has a 35mm lens. Those are my two pocket cameras.

How sad. There's no way to delay the film advance? I will try to disable the motor and make some kind of manual film winder when I get one.

I've said that previously on here. Great lens on that camera. I took mine down to a local park with my Contax T and I would say that it was an even match. Got mine for £12 off that famous auction place, the Contax cost me considerably more. Value for money is very impressive. Also very pocketable.

Nice photo btw. Colors are great and it's sharp too.

Good to see that people like these! I just picked a pretty clean one up at Goodwill for $5.

So far: smaller body and shorter shutter lag, but louder advance than my Yashica T5's.
 
Went digging through the box, and found I had a Nice-Touch 4 with the 29mm lens. And the instruction sheet! It also takes AA batteries, instead of the lithiums. I guess it's the focus-free version of what you all are talking about. It does have auto film transport, and two buttons on the front to either use the flash in a back lighting situation, or to cancel the flash. I eemember it was very dirty when I brought it home from the Goodwill store.

I have one of these I scored at the swap meet... really cool little P&S. I like my Pentax UC-1 a little better mostly due to the better viewfinder (the Nikon's is REALLY tiny and hard to see into sometimes) but the additional stop of light is helpful as well. Otherwise, the Nikon might have a slightly better lens with more edge to edge sharpness and a tad less vignetting. It's also smaller.
