Was the bus stationary?Hey punk, it was just shot wide open...lol.
Even wide open, at night on a 400 that would be a pretty slow shutter speed.

That R3A and 40mm (especially the SC version) is stunning hand held at night at f1.4 with color film.
You can go right down to 1/8 or 1/4 second if need be.

I use a Bessa T with an MC nokton 40. I am still in need of a viewfinder but it's hard to find it in Brussels:bang: so i used a cut out from a tea box. it was either genius or completely retarded (i think the latter). For me the nph is indeed a bit too bland for me... i agree with you Merelyok...
I know an Adji with a Bessa T and who lives in Brussels. I kind of expected to see you around here.

Some excellent photos in this thread; #1 in the OP's first set is really impressive. I feel an attack of GAS coming on....

Claremont is right, i've held shutterspeeds of 1/4 and 1/8 with nary a problem on the bessa + Nokton.
In fact, i've held a shot at 1/2 and it came out nicely.
this is the shot at 1/2 sec..abit of shake, but i like how it turned out.
A few more samples for u guys with GAS
Shot on Kodak Portra 400VC. My fave film!
Hm..the 35mm 1.2 should be even more fun......
