1st scans from Bessa R3a/Nokton 40mm

Ah I love them.
400 though? How did you keep it so sharp on that first picture in the bus?

One of mine from when I was in Tokyo.

That R3A and 40mm (especially the SC version) is stunning hand held at night at f1.4 with color film.

You can go right down to 1/8 or 1/4 second if need be.

If it's cool I want to also show my first couple rolls... the BW is HP5 and Colour is nph.

I use a Bessa T with an MC nokton 40. I am still in need of a viewfinder but it's hard to find it in Brussels:bang: so i used a cut out from a tea box. it was either genius or completely retarded (i think the latter). For me the nph is indeed a bit too bland for me... i agree with you Merelyok...

I know an Adji with a Bessa T and who lives in Brussels. I kind of expected to see you around here. :D I'll be getting my very first negatives ever tomorrow from the Yashica I bought sunday, though I fear there will be some lightleaks. I'll try to show you if I get my hands on a scanner.

Some excellent photos in this thread; #1 in the OP's first set is really impressive. I feel an attack of GAS coming on....

Claremont is right, i've held shutterspeeds of 1/4 and 1/8 with nary a problem on the bessa + Nokton.

In fact, i've held a shot at 1/2 and it came out nicely.
